Sirius vs XM

1. You obviously do not live in Atlanta with very poor radio coverage and long commutes.
2. On a per hour basis, Sirius is far cheaper than Cable/Satellite - I spend 2 to 3 hours a day in my car.
3. Being English, I can listen to the BBC
4. I have choice
5. Try I20 from Atlanta to Birmingham. One morning the only station I could pick up was live fishing (in the dark!)
6. Your argument would apply to anyone buying CD's surely?

Affluence is not what's important. Being happy and having a quality of life is. Satellite radio rules for me.

I have had Sirius since Feb 04. I LOVE my radio and my radio choices! I hardly ever listen to local stations unless the weathers bad or the traffic is bad. When I got my new radio, I also got a cassette and a 10 disk changer. I have tons of cd's and tapes and now along with my satellite radio I always have something and a huge variety, whether it be radio Disney or Kids stuff with my kids, or top 40 pop hits, 80's hits, Jazz, and so much more and my husband loves the unedited music, not for my kids ears. We both have it and love it! There's even a comedy station and a weather channel for when your away from home. The only time we have ever had a problem in signal is at the bank drive thru, sonic drive-in (there ways to avoid loss of signal here) and certain bridges, but usually for a second. The bridges have sensors for weather and block the signal for a second. Not enough that we'd change and leave Sirius!
