Decals do not make a car more valuable. Then again, at $50-$100 these days, neither does CS's signature........................

This is just like the damn "1994 mustang looks like a Cellica" thing... good grief, doesn't "Eleanor" look just a BIT like a 68 Shelby GT500? What's that you say? It looks EXACTLY like one with a few bits streamlined? So how in the world is the guy (who obviously had good taste because it is a sweet looking fake shelby) who made "Eleanor" going to sue Shelby again? Shelby just took advantage of a market demand for cars that look like classic SHELBY'S... Can't hardly blame him... You have to put the cart before the horse in a serious way to say that Shelby doesn't have any business making a copy of a car that looks like a direct rip off of one of his own cars.

I was under the impression that Ford owned the Cobra name (at least as it applies to cars).

From

: "This action comes after the conclusion of legal proceedings in 1997 in Los Angeles Federal Court, in which Ford obtained a judgment, which recognized the Cobra trademark as the sole and exclusive property of Ford Motor Company. As part of the final resolution of the case, Ford granted Shelby an exclusive worldwide license to use the Cobra trademark and snake designs in connection with all 1960s Cobra vehicles, which Ford acknowledged were created by Carroll Shelby and manufactured by Shelby American, Inc. -- the world recognized Manufacturer of Record.

According to

, GT350 is arademark of Ford MotorCompany.
