Hi, not long ago I saw a 67 Mustang with a CD receiver in the glove box. It had a remote so it was a slick way to improve the tunes without carving the dash. I want to do the same with mine, leaving the working AM radio fully intact.
I can't contact that owner, and I've looked in several Mustang part dealers, but only see the stereos made to fit the older bezels, or the secret audio setup. Has anyone seen a simple kit to install in the glove box so it looks clean?

If you want something common, try the Custom Auto Sound "Secret Audio" AM-FM-CD Comtoller and matching CD Changer.
If you want somthing more up to date, check Crutchfield catalog for a wide range of possibilities.

Crutchfield and others sell marine stereos with wired and RF remotes. Put the whole thing in the trunk, and stick the remote on the dash.
I've never heard good things about Secret Audio's sound quality.
I have no personal experience with secret audio but a local car stero shop which does BIG business with ricers recommended it for my 66 FB (which I sold in May).

They sell mounting bezels / pods / enclosures for all types of radios ... some even have cool plastic covers that roll down in front.
ALSO they sell remote controlled stereos, etc.. you might find something you like.
Thanks all, I was looking at Crutchfield's because I wanted a decent brand name system, but I did not see anything they had to install it with. I like the marine angle and will check that out as well.
