I just bought a 96 cobra with 31000km . The car is great. The car is 100% stock. What would be the first mod to make it goes a little faster? because it doesn,t feel any stronger than my old 5.0

oh it is stronger, it's just in a different place. These engines like to be revved up. To get the 305 hp out of it, let it rev higher up. The old 5.0 pushrod had more low-end torque but ran out of breath higher up. Make sure it has the cooling fix done. Not exactly sure what it was, but the 96 had to get the fix.

I would say that if you want to get more punch, put some 3.73s in the rear end. It makes one helluva difference.
