Switch on Clutch Linkage ??

Aug 12, 2003 3 Replies

While replacing my Quadrant/Cable the other day, I noticed (2) switches near the Clutch Linkage.

I know the white one (on the far Left) is the Starter Safety switch, but what it the black one underneath the Quadrant for ??

I dunno... can you describe what it's attached to?

Unless you have the "brake pedal" option.

;)

On automatic cars, the brake disengages the cruise control. On manual cars, the brake and the clutch disengages the crusise control. A second switch on the clutch is used to facilitate this.

Thanks. That's what my research revealed as well.
