Volts

Ok how can I get more volts to my motor with out an big alternator, sounds like the under driven pulley's are a bad idea. I have 4.10's in the rear end and a shift kit to but. So who has the ideas Thanks Wayne

What's the real problem? More voltage wont do anything but harm.

4.10s will spin your alternator faster, compensating for underdrive pulleys. If your lights are dim/flickering at idle speed, a good healthy battery would help, asuming that the rest of the stock charging system is in good order.

A new styl alt conversion and replacing the wire from the alt to the battery with a better and heavier gaudge wire and GOOD crimp connectors on both ends that are well crimped.

I don't know jack about the underdrive pulleys either, but I asume that the manufacturers have tested the prototypes and have determined the correct geometry for your application so that the consumer has not to deal with the guess work.
