Late model modifieds at your local (or not so local) dirt circle track are just that. This is a low-paid low-budget sport... even the winners really don't take home much... and when it's all said and done at the end of the season, almost everyone's deep into it even with sponsors. They all do it for the love of racing. Most of them work on their own machines and all.
