WTB: Mustang interior parts

Hi everyone,

I was looking on e-bay and found the car that I wanted for interor parts. Just too damn far away (INDEPENDENCE MO) and it has no title, which makes me suspicious. I hope it's not somebodys stolen Mustang. ANd I'm not trekking a car with no title across a bunch of states. I like my freedom.

But, if anyone knows where I can find some decent interior parts in NY/NJ/CT area (ahem...Bill S.?) please let me know. Looking for red tweed interior. Also, looking for the door gaskets, and trunk gasket, (Saw those in a JC whitney catalog but I haven't ordered anything since the 1980's, and it was crap back then. Probably the same now, but I've got no experience there) and some of the plastic interior in the hatch area. Also fasteners, but I recall Bill S. mentioning just buy the fasteners from Ford.

Thanks in advance,

Jimmy

If you E-mail me the particular parts you need and year/model (i.e. GT/LX) coupe/hatch, etc. I might be able to help you out.

Remove "PETITION" from above E-mail address or contact me through my web site below.

Thanks,

That's a damn nice car they tore down just for parts in Boonton! (Looked like NY reg/insp stickers too...) The thing about the MO car is it's red tweed... (DAMN! I'd big and go get it if the guy had a title)

How about the gaskets, Bill? Ford, or are decent aftermarkets available. Funny thing, the gasket I don't have a problem with is the flip up sunroof. But it's the one I've taken the most care of over the years and while not really ignoring the others, the drivers side has been damaged by me dragging my feet over it for 14 years, and the rear hatch gasket from packing stuff in the bacl and even being careful, tearing it over enough times.

Thanks for the info. WIll check those sites out, and post.

That one is probably worth becoming a blank canvas to build a car from.

And for a mere $830, the price a just a few body panels.

There are two junkyards in Bristol, CT that I have had a lot of luck at finding parts for my 86 GT. One is called Toms, I believe the other is Rays or Riches. They're both on the same road near the Plymouth boarder. 5.0 Resto
