I have a friend that has a 81 280Z with 20,000 original miles on it. He has owned it since it was new and the car (to my knowledge) is spotless.
I know he wants to sell it, but was asking 9000.
Is it worth that?!

Well worth it. Trying to get a old beat up $1500 280ZX into the condition a
20,000 mile car is in would probably end up costing $20,000. If you want a nice Z car, you are WAY better off spending the money up front buying the cleanest, lowest milage car you can afford rather than trying to "restore" a cheaper one. A good quality paint job is going to cost $2500 just by itself!Join the Discussion
