FS: 82 280zx 2+2 for restore or parts, Dallas TX

Starts easy and runs strong. I bought this in 96 with 120,000 miles on it, drove it back and forth across Dallas daily until I was hit on the right side. Drove fantastic and I almost never had to do a thing to it. Still a good car, just needs some TLC. I sincerly wish I had time to fix it myself, but I don't. I hate the thought of it being used for parts, but there's more than enough good ones to make it a perfect parts car if someone was combining cars.

Originally: Dark Gray with Light Gray Leather interior. Just about evey option you could get on this car except the turbo. Automatic transmission, 2.8L inline 6 cylinder. Power windows/doors. Power steering, 4 wheel disc brakes. Factory wheels in excellent condition.

What I did do to it and when:

97 - Full Tune-up, Fuel pump, Front & Rear Brakes, Front shocks, Tires, Pioneer Supertuner AM/FM Cassette Deck, Repainted Jaguar Racing Green.

98 - A/C went out. Had the evaporator replaced by a shop that didn't know what they were doing. Stopped payment on the check, sent a nasty letter, never heard back. They're out of business now. I know the evaporator's new, but don't know what else it needs. The guy did a horrible job, and jury-rigged the expansion valve. The freon leaked out the first day. Never got the A/C fixed.

00 - Replaced fuel injector seals.

02 - Front Brakes, Driver's side seat cover.

List of needs:

New left door - I have this, but have not installed

Driver side window

Body work on left rear quarter panel

Paint on right side, but probable easier and better to repaint the whole car

Left headlight - just needs the bulb

Battery - was new, so I gave it to my mom for her eclipse. I have the mitsubishi battery which works when jupped, but needs to be replaced.

Radio console replaced - I have this, but removed it from the car to prevent it from being stolen on account of the missing window.

New muffler - the old one is rusted out, aside from this and some rust in the damaged areas, there is no other rust.

Lots of interior work in front and cargo area, the back seat is primo, head liner is fine. Gray leather interior

Windshield wipers

Tags and inspection - Clear title. It should pass emissions with a new muffler, I never had any problems, even with the old crudded out one.

Other stuff: The fuel injectors leak, as they do with most of the 280's. I was going to fix this, but got hit before I got around to it. I have replace the seals once before several years ago using aftermarket seals. My mistake, use the factory seals, the aftermarket ones don't last.

The rear tires each have a slow leak. It takes a week or two for them to go flat, but new tires would be highly recommended.
