I have been having sooooo many issues with my 88 Turbo lately that I finally decided to take the car to one of those overpriced 'Z Specialists'. I went in there at 8:00AM and spoke with Leanne. She was great. I wrote down all of the specifics of the issues and had my car diagnosed within an hour. I walked out of there with a minimal bill and a written report of everything they recommend. Even their recommendations were very reasonably priced. Not otm netion my car was running very well. Turned out to bethe throttle position sensor and the harness going to it. Damn sensors.
