Above vehicle with 50,000 miles starts fine when cold with foot off the gas. Idles fine, runs smooth. After it sits for 1/2 hour to an hour it will not cold start after 3 or 4 seconds. After waiting about 15 seconds it will start up with foot a few inches down on the gas. Air filter is clean. Plugs and pcv are original. Have experienced this problem with carbureted vehicles, but never with a fuel injected one. Any clues out there?
