1975 6cyl 4spd 280z Datsun the car starts but does not stay running. when the ignition is turned to the start position, the fuel pump runs,but when the ignition is released to the run position the puel pump stops running and the engain stops running. anyone know what the problem is? Help

There are points in the air flow meter that turn on the pump when air is flowing through the meter. Sounds like either something is wrong there or there is a leak between the meter and the engine.
