does anyone know the actual size of speaker the rear speaker openings are designed for? it had these weird old clarion speakers in it and they sounded terrible so i tried to put 6x9's in it and they didn't fit. does anyone know the best size for the opening?
In my 93 se-r sentra (2 door), it's 6.5 inch round speakers in the front, and 6.75 round in the rear...
A lot of replacement speakers will have holes in the outer ring spaced at 6.5, and openings on the outside of the mounting rings spaced at 6.75.
