Where is the fuel pump located? How good, bad or ugly is it for a competent d-i-y-er? Perry

Gas tank I think!

It is located under the rear seat. Remove seat bottom and seat back and it should be dead center between the cabin and trunk under a rubber flap. I beleive replacement is pretty straight forward, just make sure you diconnect the battery and do the repair in a well ventilated space.
