ALL NISSAN FUEL INJECTORS DIE!

Sep 11, 2003 5 Replies

Just asking, but is that true? Do all of Nissan's fuel injectors just give out after a certain number of miles? One guy I know said this happened on three of his high-mileage Nissans (and to other people's), and swore to never buy one again for that reason alone.

What was considered high mileage? I'm sure it happens.

It's not just a "Nissan" problem, Over time things wear out, injectors go bad. It is a fact of life .

Diesel or Petrol?

I had a 1990 V6 Hardbody pickup which went 225K miles. When I sold it was still running smoothly. Never had any injector problems, and that was without adding any injector cleaner products to the fuel.

But what was the fuel?
