Hi, Got a sentra (not the classic one)93 aut. transm. , was going fine since this morning, after starting from a stop, the transmission stop switching speed, it stays on the 1st speed, even if i try to force it by increasing the speed. the "R" still working, just don't want to switch in second. any idea where to look ? le_papa
had a similar problem it was on a maxima. found that the separator gasket in the valve body was torn (due to pressure i guess) it was allowing a leak in the valve body. therefore the transaxle would not upshift. jerome
Can the valve body gasket be replaced without removing the transmission?
