Nissan Screwed Me

I ordered an Armada back in Oct. here in Manassas, due in the last week of Dec.... The dealer just told me that Nissan took the order back without notifying me or the dealer, something about the Tech package .. I needed this vehicle by the end of the year for a tax writeoff. I have called the Nissan customer service line several times over the past week and am still waiting on an explanation. The customer service rep. keeps telling me he is leaving messages for a "distribution specialist" and she hasn't returned his call FOR A WEEK... What type of company is this? They don't even return thier own employees calls...What a joke.. This is the reason Nissan will always be the bastard son of Toyota and Honda.. They make great vehicles, but leave a lot do be desired on the dealer network and customer service sides. Just venting!!

No need mate. I bought a brand new Almera from a dealership and it broke down 9 months later in a foreign country. The dealership there just left it standing in his yard for 10 days whilst we had no car. The dead car was then shipped back to England where 88 faults were found on the diagnostics computer. Next morning according to my dealership the faults had erased themselves so he had to go on guess work. About a week later they had the car running saying the fault could only have been one thing and so was now O.K. Three weeks later the car failed again, this time I was in a city and was able to get the car taken to a dealership, where the car apparently started without fault. I was rung by Nissan customer services telling me I was wasting their time and money. Two hours later the dealer rang me to say that the function switches (lights etc.) were working the wrong items and there appeared to be a fault in the processor which runs the car. I collected the car later the same day and drove it back to my own dealership before daring to switch off the engine, 300miles. I asked Nissan customer services if they would loan me a car until mine was sorted as it could not be trusted, but they just refused. I had bought the car cash and they just didn't want to know. Being an unreliable unrepaired car all I could do was part exchange it for a new one. Someone somewhere is driving around in that car which will sooner or later let them down and I bet they are told, "Oh, it's broken down, that'll cost you. Nissan customer services are CRAP.

Tell you what, go to a Ford dealer and pick up one of their fine products. I'm sure Nissan has a good reason and I can bet you the price of that Truck that you would be really happy they did it if you found out why. So relax and enjoy whatever car you get.

In the city where I bought my Nissan, the Nissan dealer is one of only

3 that I consider trustworthy.

The ford dealers are at the very bottom of my list - I had a ford product once and had to junk it at age of 8 years because I couldn't get parts.

Wow... you are able to afford buying a car for a tax writeoff and have the nerve to bitch about it? If you are so rich, why don't you just go buy any car? John

I was rung

At which point I would have been IN this guys face immediately. I would have hime and everyone above him up to the top person in the same offices with him in one office explaining how he would word his public appology for telling a customer with a dead car tey were wasting his time.

You don't have to be rich to use your car as a tax credit.
