I ALWAYS change the oil at 500 miles and 1500 miles with a brand new vehicle.May be over kill but engines are expensive.Never had a nissan with less than 150K on it. That said,Corvettes and Porche,and Triumph motorcycles come from the factory with Mobil 1 synthetic already in them.I change after the 1500 mile mark.
