Hi
Can anyone explain how the torsion bar front suspension works please?
Also, does anyone know if blowing exhaust manifold gaskets are a common problem?

please?
One end of the torsion bar is splined to the moving lower suspension arm while the other is fixed to the chassis. When the suspention moves the bar twists. It is effectively a coil spring unwound. It works well but with limited suspension movement.
Not AFAIK.
