I have a 2000 NIssan Altima and wanted to get an extra key made. The dealership wants to charge $90 to give a new key as there is some electronic code that needs to be programmed. Has anyone found a cheaper options on the web or through a specific dealer?

You may find a key cheaper , it's the programming that going to cost you.
The software and hardware are dealership specific and not available in the aftermarket
