Is they any problem with a faint clicking for about 5 sec on start up after sitting for 12 hrs at 5 below?

Not really a problem, but it's a good idea to run a synthetic oil or a good grade of 5-30 in that weather.

Then I wouldn't worry about it, though you do realize Amsoil is not API certified, right? At least last I knew. I always thought they were more about marketing than anything else.

According to their website, some are and some are not. If you're happy with it and believe it's the best, that's all that matters.
Variable cam timing in 2000? I don't think so. I think that happened in
2002 with the 3.5L engine.Matthew
