Hi,
Where's the best place to buy hood supports, the gas struts, about 12" long, which hold up the hood when open. The ones I have no longer support the hood.

Autozone, 19.99 each (at least for the 95-99s). I would assume they would be similar for your vintage too.

Pepboys usually has them too. Pretty much any parts store.
As here no access to cheap struts, and no will to fatten socialist stealerships: I bought one strut which is 2" longer, will go in after 'some' fightin. Now it stays up ok. I dont recommend...
Best cheap advise I've seen so far was a sliced plastic pipe: clip it on the strut when hood open. (remember to take off before closure:)
