Tough choice. The nissan struts have a nice ride, most of the quality aftermarket struts like tokico or KYB are calibrated more for performance and ride stiffer. The really cheap aftermarket shocks ussually end up feeling about like the worn out ones you are replacing! :-)

Before you dismiss the nissan ones out of hand, check the prices. Sometimes they are pretty reasonable.

Tokico 'Blues' are a very mild aftermarket strut. The springs aren't supposed to wear out, I think.
