I have (inherited) a 20 year old 205 with 37K genuine on the clock.
Is this of interest to collectors, or will I get peanuts for it?

Depends on the spec and whether it looks nice or not - What particular trim level is it?
Not sure what u mean, but there's not to much rust. Its the basic spec I guess.
I Trevor,
Sorry, by 'trim level' I meant something like "XE", "XN", "XS" etc after the
205 moniker.Cheers, Matt
Doesn't look god for second hand values then?
Do you know any sites where I can get a Parkers/Glasses style valuation/ (free of course))

Hello,
For a 205 which is 20 years old, in UK like in France, it should be unquoted, close to 0. Sorry. Excepted if it is a particular model (yes, I think of the 205 T16 Série
200). No offense, my '93 Junior D should worth 0 (indeed more, see FS announcements), remaining the affective value... which has no price.Regards, G.T (loves his '93 Junior D - only saw one similar) snipped-for-privacy@worldonline.fr
205 Diesel & turbo-Diesel :Oh I don't know - mint low mileage ones of even pretty basic spec/engine size will always find a good home and a good price
Afraid I don't know of a free valuation site - Damn Parkers for charging!
MThanks guys!

FS?? What are you getting instead? I assume it will be Pug with a D (and hopefully a T :-) on the back?
Parkers (mis)guide is useless anyways.
Hello,
I don't want to get rid of my 205. I meant that a 20 years old 205, or even mine (11 years) officially doesn't worth more than the petrol in the tank. Of course, reality is all different, take the daily paper and watch out how much they want for such cars. Oh, if I had to get another car (and supposing I had the money for it), I guess I'd go for a 206 1.4HDi "naked", i.e no AC, no alloys... just 3 doors, the CD player and the on-board computer. Believe me or not, but I trust Pug's electronics, even if I unfortunately don't work on them.
