206 petrol engine hard to start when cold.

my Daughters 206 has has become hard to start at times when cold, this usualy is first thing in the mornings , or after finishing work in the evenings, the battery and starter motor are both ok, engine turns over ok bu refuses to fire..any help would be apreciated..thanks
