I've been knowing some strange behaviour with my car today : in the morning at cold start, the display tells me 10,000km before service (the value was good and correctly decreasing since March, 14th ; day I got it). I've been driving about 1/4 mile, stopped engine because I was going away (time to get some mail from the post office), back to the car, say 5 minutes later, starts again and the spanner appears, saying 700km until service due. Last oil change on October 2007, including filters of course, car is driven about 60km a day. Any thoughts ? I have to add that the previous owner (my dad) had the same problem before, but he was mostly using it on short journeys. Car is a 206 HDi '02, full mux.
Another thought : does anyone know if it's possible to set the service interval reset at 10,000km ? I resetted it, but I can only achieve a "full reset" (20,000km).
