405 Timing Belt

Hi, midway through a timing belt change on my 405 GTX Injection Estate. Got a little problem!... Can't find the hole in the block to put the peg in to stop the crankshaft rotating. The engine in question is the D6A 1.9i it does have air-con, but that is driven from the second auxillary drive belt (which it isn't 'sposed to have!)

Please help if you have done this yourself (timing belt), or know where this hole is?

TIA Dean

Undo the starter motor. You can get your fingers past it and the hole is then obvious. I have the 1.9TD so your inlet manifold may affect what I've said.

I have the inlet manifold off, and the starter motor (had to to get the flywheel locked to allow me to remove the crankshaft pulley!), but there is no hole visible. The Haynes manual said it shoud be on the same side of the block as the timing belt but I don't see it.
