bypass peugeot 306 dim dip resistor

Hi is it possible to by pass dim dip resistor if so,how easy/hard is it to do ? thanks for any reply i have come to realize that driving in driving rain & dark isn't great fun.

tried to order one from main dealer ,its on order ,but they are taking their time.

I couldn't tell you how to do it but it is easy.

I got a Pug dealer to do an emergency repair whilst on the way to Scotland from home since neither they nor their neighbours had a resistor in stock. As vj says its a matter of snipping the wires and joining them together. I'm not sure exactly how but have a look at this or get your local independent garage to figure it out.

The dim dip resistor is number 27 at M4.

thanks for the link. i've managed to get a couple of resistors from local scrap yard today. so problem fixed.
