the remote is connected (not wireless) using VAN BUS, the middle 8 pin plug are speakers wires.
The RD3 only have speaker out, no audio line out.
the RD3 has a +12V out which is useful for switching device on when unit switch on, and also have a signal mute line.
the car itself provide +12V permanent, Ground and a 'semi' accessories +12V into the RD3.
If getting a new unit you will need to get prober ACC and (light/dimmer) somewhere else. display and stalk control wont work.
