Peugeot quoted me £205 to find a leak and refil

I found a local "does it on his drive" refridgeration guy who charged me £45 for a leak check and refil

The guy found the leak within 2 seconds (when peugeot claim to have serviced my aircon) they took both the low and high side caps off and didnt put them back on properly.

Presurising the system and putting the caps on properly and no leak was found. Fill the system up properly, 15mins total time and £45 and it works colder then it did new now

Sounds good,

Was this guy a car air con servicer or was he a general refrigerant specialist? Its just that when I need it done, I need to know who to look for :-)

Where are you ?? If in the Wolves area I know of someone who can do it. Can but ask him how much and compare. He has done both mine and my wifes so can vouch for him

There is a company called ACRE in Carterton just outside Witney in Oxfordshire

They a a company who deal with both cars and cooling plant

probably charge you about £70 to refill your system

I dont need it doing yet, but thanks anyway. I was interested in the best and cheapest way of getting it done, also someone had asked me the same question and I wanted to get my facts right before telling them to avoid Peugeot.
