either you have a weak or broken coil spring or non original alloys that are too wide for the car, incorrect tyres, etc, jack it up and have a look. shouldnt be too hard to find the fault. steve.

Hasn't got coil springs on the back mate. I'd check the rear radius arm bearings, but these usually make the tyre touch the inner arch at the top, unless it only happens under hard braking and cornering in one specific direction. Whatever it is, it's not good, get it checked out sharpish.

thought he said front....mate in this case the torsion bar is weak. have it checked as its possible that the splines might be worn or the bar is losing its strength,

if the wheel is hitting the top of the arch then it will be a worn or blown shock absorber but it does have a bump stop in place so it wont damage the car it self. if it is the trailing arm then get a second hand axle but dont pay more than 50-60 notes for one. as it a waste of time and money trying to repair an axle. when it far cheaper just to replace it you will learn that with peugeot?s
