Totally random, went to work fine, but when I came home, it took 3 times to start it, and then I could not go more than 5 miles per hour, even flooring it. It caughed and sputtered, and died a lot. Clogged fuel filter? Any thoughts?

Could be. Could be a lot of other things including pump. If you have a gauge, check the fuel pressure.
