If I punch the gas my car back fires


99 GTP Borla cat back exhaust with high flow catalytic

any suggestion would be appreciated

How many miles on car? Spark Plugs or Wires need to be replaced? How about boost pressure? Does it max out? Injectors working properly? Fuel filter clogged? Lots of causes for backfire.

any type of exhaust will do that. I have a 2002 that does the same thing....its because the back pressure is different
