I think your air filter is clogged up.
I don't think it is your converter. If it is an intake problem, try running your car without the airfilter in, for about a mile or so, and see what happens.
Transmission fluid?
Not sure about your engine setup, but have you tested the ignition module and coil packs, if applicable?
Plug wires, I think.
Add more gas
I.E.: MASH!!!! The gas pedal!!!!!!!! The one on the right and let off on the one on the left. Should take care of the problem. At least it holds true for my 95 Trans Am :)

is the engine getting enough gas? chek the fuel filter and the fuel pump!
