My check engine light on my 96 grand am has been on for months. My car just recently starting running bad. I had diagnostics done and my first cylindar is not firing. I've changed spark plugs, spark plug wire, and coils. My car only runs bad when im creeping up to a stop sign, or just taking off from a stopped postion. It clanks rattles and squeeks until I'm up to about 25 miles per hour, then it stops, and runs just fine. We cant figure out what is wrong..any ideas?

seems like all of the ignition has been replaced, probably on the fuel side of things, get a volt meter and figure out if the injector is firing
I own a 1995 pontiac grand AM and i had a simmilar problem. One of my fuel injectors got clogged and my car was only running on 5 cylinders causing my engine to shake really bad, so i replaced it and my engine was still shaking. I inspected my engine and found that the shaking had caused my right side lower moter mount had snapped off the bolt and the one right above it was warped from the engine kicking so much. i replaced both mounts and my car is its old self again. just to let you know all that cost me about $280 and i did it myself. but thats the first thing i would check is your moter mounts. goodluck.
Hello Becca773, best to run computer diagnostics at the shop, arrive at the shop with the check engine light on. Mike De Vito
