External key won't turn to unlock trunk - been that way for months.
Then this morning the inside trunk release worked then this afternoon it doesn't either. Can't get into my trunk.
Attempting to take out backseat, got bottom out but not the back of the back seat to get into the trunk. Any one has any suggestions - other than going to a locksmith??
1) You could drill out the tumblers and use a screwdriver on the remains. 2) Use a large punch and large ballpeen hammer to punch out the cylinder. 3) Hammer a very large screwdriver into the slot and use a pipe wrench. 4) Remove the back of the rear seat and crawl into the trunk with screwdriver.
