Could also be a bad fuel pump or regulator. take tha cap off the
schrader valve and depress the pin to see if there is pressure BEFORE
cranking the engine. Should be pressure even before turning on the
key. Make sure it is the FUEL schrader valve, not the A/C!!!!!!!
The fuel pump should run for aprox 4 seconds when the key is turned
on, before cranking. Listen at the gas cap to confirm.
However, if the filter has not been shanged in the last year, it's a
fair bet it needs changing.
Could have ice in the fuel lines too, depending where you are. Get a
can of Heet or any isopropyl based fuel de-icer if that is a
possibility in your case.NOT METHYL HYDRATE!!!!!
