I have been looking around for a project car and had not considered the 914 until recently. I was wondering if any 914 owners out there could give me there impressions of the car. What is it like to own and drive one?

it's more fun than you can shake a stick at. i LOVE my 914. it's my daily driver. it's been reliable and more or less economical; parts are not particularly expensive but labor costs me a bit (you can save on that if you work on it yourself). it does get good gas mileage. my favorite thing about it is that it's an absolute blast to drive. i look forward to the day i can afford a 914-6!

I really enjoyed my 914. The car did everything but accellerate well. It would have been really cool to have a six. I even liked the traveling capacity: Two trunks!
