I'm proud to say I finally became a Porsche owner - 1999 Boxster. What a great ride !
One question - The car appears to be very well built ( I've had several different types of sport cars - none were built like the Porsche ). Has there been any recalls on a 1999 Porsche Boxster that anyone knows of ?

With the VIN in hand, call Porsche's customer service number and the person you speak too should be able, after you supply the VIN, tell you if there have been any recalls for that car, and if any have been performed, or are in need of being performed.
Also, ask and see what else you can learn about the car. For instance, I've been told you can find out when the car was first put into service, to which dealer it was initially shipped, and what options it came with.
