The impact appears to be a side impact type of crash. The front bumper of the Ford hit the Porsche in the wheelwell area. The stronger bumper area of the Ford is impacting what is essentially a sheet metal only area on the Porsche. You could substitute similar size cars from virtually any combination of manufacturers and get similar results given the crash parameters.
