9-3 Convertible... Please Help.

Guys,

Please help me here. It is just a question of choice. I very much like to buy 9-3 Aero but my wife is against it mainly because of following reasons: a) How the car will do in snow ? We are moving to Toronto this winter and she is not sure how the car will handle all the snow that Toronto will bring. b) Is it still spacious after puttng a child seat ?

Your inputs will really help us decide.

thanks, v

The car will do very well in snow. Putting good quality snow tires on the car will make it handle the white stuff like an AWD. The soft top is well insulated and quite quiet so that is a non-issue as well.

No. It is not spacious in the rear seat of the convertible before putting a car seat in and will really be tough to fit an additional adult in the rear along with the car seat. The trunk is also not spacious in teh convertible. If these features are important to you I would suggest seriously looking at the 5 door hatchback instead.

Comparing the backseat to a sedan or hatchback, yes of course it's not spacious but compared to other convertibles it is. There is enough room for a child seat and a passenger in the back seat.

As far as the trunk, there again compared to a sedan or hatchback it's small but compared to other convertibles, it's larger than most.
