My friend has a 98(?) 9-3 and she has to change the headlights every few months. One will blow out, then a couple of months later, another one. Also, usually the headlights go off by themselves, but with the high beams on, they stay on. Can anyone help? Thanks, Steve
9-3 Headlights Blow Out Intermittently

In the US 9-3 did not come out until '99, If the lamps continue top blow prematurely, they are either vibrating too much or the voltage being supplied to them is too high.
Not sure what you mean by this. Can you describe the issue better?

Are you sure the bulbs are actually blowing? There is a commonish fault with 9-3s that causes one of the headlights to go out. Replacing the bulb often joggles things around enough to make it start working again even though there was nothing wrong with the original bulb.
