Clutch Release Bearing

Aug 06, 2004 4 Replies

I got a 91 9000 2.3 DI with a squeeling clutch. Is it a big (expensive) job to have the release bearing done?

TIA Egremont

Yes :-) the gearbox has to come out ... leave it just don't ride the clutch.

Regards Charles

and then when you do go in to change it, plan on doing a full clutch while you have it apart. The labor is the expensive part...

Don't forget the pilot bearing while you're in there as well.

And the crank seal!!!
