Sony sell a model which has its own control panel and has an fm connection to the aerial lead of any head unit - base model is 10CD changer - I believe current high end model plays mp3s as well. Quality is okay - limit in most cars is head unit amplifier and speakers. Other suppliers have similar fm modulator solutions. Be grateful you can use a clarion - more recent models need a "Saab" unit or the above solution.
