Saab 93 Con' Sat Nav problem

May 20, 2005 3 Replies

Hi all,

I have a 2005 Saab 93 Convertible Auto with Sat Nav which does not seem to be performing correctly. The standard map display at any scale does not display any road names or numbers however for a short time a few days ago this information appeared and was very useful. Next time the system was used this had disappeared. The dealer has suggested cleaning the DVD in the boot.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and any solutions to it?

Thanks,

Kam

The whole sat-nav / phone / WAP / ICE unit is an expensive pile of rubbish! I love the car ('05 93 xvertible) but this option I wish I had saved my money on.

The Sat-Nav does not give road names (that I can find anyway), only towns and whatever POI's you select. This is a shame as I had a Range Rover with a NavTeq based satnav which was better than excellent - looks like Saab thought they could do better and have failed.
