Need chains for 93 SW2

I was at the Saturn dealer and they were recomending these bolt on plastic monsters for my year of Saturn. I imagine the issue is there is not a lot of clearance between the tire and the wheel well. Is it not recommended to use regular chains? Are there any recommended chains for my model? I have P195/60R15 tires currently on my 93 SW2. Any input or suggestions will be appreciated... George

I've always heard that all years of S-Series require the spider spikes - there's not enough room (clearance) for chains (I don't have first-hand experience, driving in rain is as close to living on the edge as I get...)

New looks like around $300+, re:

If you live anywhere that requires chains and will need to put them on often, I recommend the spiders. When I was living in the Sierras, where chains are required, they were wonderful. I could put them on or take them off in less than 5 minutes. Well worth the money if you have to deal with it a lot.

I now live in Nebraska where snow and ice are much worse than in the Sierras. I've never used the spiders here, but with front wheel drive and good tires, I've never felt the need for them.
