Starter Replace

I have a 98 Saturn SL. After driving long distances(aprox. 45min.)or more the car will not restart. When the key is turned you get just a clicking sound. Everything else works horn, raido, lights, etc... After two hours or so it will start. If you just drive a short distance the car will start right up(aprox. 20min.), but not more than a couple of places. I think that once the starter gets hot it sticks. If it is the starter; how do I replace it? Thanks!

An opinion: I doubt it is the starter, although admit it could be the starter solenoid contacts.

Check your electrical connections (especially at the battery posts and starter solenoid) and make sure they are all clean and tight. You then need to troubleshoot the problem to see the source of the problem. Most times this is caused by a high resistance path between the battery and the starter motor. Not too much in that path: positive battery post connection, starter relay, starter solenoid connection, starter solenoid contacts, wiring from solenoid to starter motor, and the return path through the engine to the chassis ground and the negative battery post).
