I had a visitor today from a fellow NG'er, Steve Haugen, and his son. They made the 550+ mile drive down from the Minneapolis area today to pick up a '37 CE bed that I had picked up and stored for another NG'er a few months ago.
The CE bed was mounted on a trailer frame but we found that if we flipped it over, tires up, it would drop perfectly into the bed of Steve's short bed Dodge and looks like it will ride home comfortably in there (yes, we did tie it down as well).
Although it was a short visit, had a great time and it was good to put yet another face to a name. THIS is what the club is all about and why I still hang around the NG. I've met some of the best people ever here.
