If anyone is traveling near or thru Fort Wayne IN heading NW toward Minneapolis/St. Paul MN, I have a '37 CE bed/trailer here that needs to make its way up there.

I have not looked closely at the condition of the tires and have not serviced the bearings and think it would be safest to move it on a trailer. It is pretty light and the entire unit is not really much bigger than the bed itself in width and has about 40" of tongue sticking out in front of the bed. Another option would be to remove the bed from the trailer chassis and move just the bed. I believe this would drop into the bed of a standard pick-up as the bolt-on fenders are not on it. This is just the box.

So.... If anyone is coming thru or knows someone coming thru, drop me a line and we'll see what we can set up.

Thanks,

I caught the 40" of tongue and just had to rear the rest of the story!!!!!

I kind of figured that would draw a response from you, Calvin! LOL

Not coming to my place that I'm aware of. I will be somewhere in Illinois sometime in the next 2 weeks with a car trailer.Would gladly haul it if details can be worked out.Hows that for vague...lol

I heard about a guy that had a 12" tongue. He didn't use it as a rule though. (:-)

I have a 55 Conestoga Wagon which I'm selling for a couple hundred dollars. I need to know if anyone has an empty trailer going north from Sacramento to Oregon who would be interested to transport for not much more than gas and lunch. The buyer can't afford to buy the car and pay exhorbitant transportation fees.
